I am a passionate person of the art of 'Parkour' I practice it almost every day I also like to take photography of it as well as film. If I am not training I will be at home conditioning/working out which is a second hobby of mine.

I eat, sleep and breathe fitness and help others as and when they need it. I hope in turn my movement and information I provide gives others inspiration, motivation and helps them on their journey to train correctly, safely and help others.

For you guys on here, I hope you enjoy viewing my photography as much as I enjoy taking it.

Interests
So from this day on, I now own a Canon EOS 600D. I am very pleased with this purchase and have been contemplating getting a camera for a year or so now but never got round to getting one. I finally got the money and courage to take the plunge and buy one. It arrived early this morning and since then I have been having a play around with it to see what it is like for taking images.

I know it will take me a long time to grow into the 600D and get used to all the various settings it has, I expect perhaps when technology has really advanced and in another decade or so I might opt for a new model than I have now. I didn't want to buy something which was in the £1000's range and so opted for something below that and is why I have the model I have.

I can't wait to collect great images for the rest of the year. It's going to be really the start of something beautiful! I love photography and this is one reason I wanted to buy a decent camera after all my old one I have had since 2004 (Fujifilm FinePix S7000) as you can image I have long surpassed the capabilities of that model. I mean don't get me wrong I shall still be using it as a second camera for shots so I can have more images of things I shoot and from different angles.

Just a shot journal entry to let people know what I am up to, I best carry on reading this manual and doing experimental shots... Until next time, have a great day.

Zade.

Hey dude, How you doing?
I was wondering, do you stay anywhere near Edinburgh? Just wondering because I'd love to try my hand at parkour photography but i've never photographed it before so wouldn't really have a clue what i'm doing haha. How long you been doing parkour?

Hey dude. Not too bad thanks, yourself? I've not been up to Edinburgh for Parkour as of yet. If you want to get some shots of the locals try [link] it should have all info for where they meet, go and train etc. :D

Parkour people are really down to earth and relaxed and are used to people taking photography and filming so don't be too worried about not knowing how to go about capturing. Just experiment and I'm sure you'll get good results!

I've been practising Parkour for around 6ish years now. So a fairly long time compared to many haha.

Glad to hear. I'm good thanks,
Yeah man, I've been up bristo before. Was just wondering if you'd been up before.
Think it would be a bit daunting first time on my own haha.
I don't even have a camera at the moment though, it broke!

Yeah man, Thanks.

6 years, Nice one haha. I was doing it for 3ish years but stopped due to injury, Would love to get back out and do it again but the injury was pretty serious so I can't move the way I used to which sucks but I enjoy watching it still

You get used to it just like when you go to your first parkour Jam. Unlucky about the camera dude.

What injury did you sustain? I've had some pretty serious ones too. They even make or break your training livelihood. I got put out of training after I tore all my adductor's :'( I was out for a whole year and then it took a further year before I could train proper again and I still get pain from time to time.

I can't not do Parkour, and find it very hard to just sit and watch others as it really does tempt me to train haha.

I think ligament and tendon injuries are the worse as they last so long!
